Languedoc-Roussillon
A long and rich culture passed from generation to generation

About the region
With more than 2,5 million inhabitants, the Languedoc-Roussillon region enjoys both natural landscapes with its long sandy beaches to unspoiled towns with lively streets, old boutiques, shaded squares and terraces to stroll through.
A stress-free zone
The region is known for its Mediterranean climate with 300 days of annual sunshine alternating between hot summers and mild, dry winters. People are friendly, relaxed and are unaccustomed to stress. The Languedoc-Roussillon region has also inherited a long and rich culture passed from generation to generation that you can see along the vast region by the presence of menhirs, dolmens, Roman monuments, Romanesque churches and chapels, cathedrals, châteaux, villages and walled cities.
Getting there, and property prices
Located between the Spanish boarder and the estuary of the Rhône, communication links are very good. The prices here are rising above the average for France.
